Origins- or isn’t this your old blog?
Yes this the blog set up for my PCT hike with a new name. I'm not super tech savy so get over it. Origins excerpts from journal- held together via duct tape. 3 Jan Flipping the calendar revels more blank space. Opportunity, mystery, chance, risk, boredom, and uncertainty. Not unlike really any period of time past or present from this moment. Seven boxes aligned neatly in rows and columns. This might just be our way of dealing with the madness or for some organizing the agonizing. Have I fallen into the trap? Reading my PCT Comunicator I now find my brain saying I did that- well more than my brain my mouth, to as many people as possible. With the annual flipping of the page I now realize that was last year. What have you done for me lately? You need another dream Chicken*, so that you can chase it. Sharing through voice or written word helps relive the adventure and keeps the details fresh or embellishable. But now the harder question and challenge lay out there somewhere. Like that next water cache in 29 miles, something you need to survive. What is next?
